Motobecane Track 2010 Sizing Question
Hello there,
I'm planning on buying my first fixie, which I have chosen to be the Motobecane Track 2010 from bikesdirect. However, I'm a little confused about the sizing. I'm somewhere between 5'5-5'6, and my inseam is a little less than 30 inches (it's closer to 30 than it is to 29.5). So should I go with the 52cm sized bike? Or would the 49cm be a better fit?
Here's a link to the geometry of the bike: https://www.motobecane.com/track/trk.html#geo
Thanks for all your help!

I'm 5'8 with a 29-30" pants inseam and a ~32" cycling inseam. I ride a 53 cm Kilo WT...fits me perfect. Rode a 52 cm Messenger that was just a touch small. I don't like a while lot of saddle to bar drop. Standover-wise either will be fine. Kinda depends on how much of a reach you want and how much saddle to bar drop. But seeing as this is going to be your first bike it's kind of a shot in the dark until you figure out what you like....

I'm 5'8" and I have a 52. The standover height is a little short, but the TT length fits pretty well. My gut tells me to say you should go with a 49cm.

I'm 5'9" and have a 52cm Moto Track. I think the 54cm would have been a better fit.

To OP, if you have long torso and arms, go with the 52cm but if you have a short torso and arms aren't that long, go with 49cm.

I'm 5' 6" and 30" inseam. I got the 49cm and I think it's the right size for me. I don't know if my arms would be considered long or short, but they are 23" from tip of the shoulder to mid palm. 49 seems a good size for me, maybe it will be a good size for you. But maybe not!
