Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Considering the temperature at 7am here in colorado this time of year, this is my daily commuter.

Not my car but only difference is mine has some lime green rims.

It's been getting chilly and has been really windy here too. I also often find myself having to haul more stuff to the Post Office than I can logically carry on a bike so I resort to the ol' Subaru.

Funny how this thread is now about cars (and donkeys...and Mexicans).

i dislike the direction of this thread. i think it's been established that this isn't the car-free board on bike forums but i would love to see more than one bike posted.

Edit: two bikes, thanks to TT

Post up then!

I ride a bike every day - for various reasons - but don't really consider any of them to be "commuters". Besides, I love my car.

this is bfssfg. The most logical answer is, my flying squirrel flies me to work. Duh-

plus it makes a grand entrance when it lands.

hopefully i'll have something sexy with racks on it by the spring so i can haul all my heavy ass law books to and from school everyday. at that point, i'll post my bike in this thread.

Indeed, a 2008 with AWD. I have different wheels. Same color.

I'm already thinking about trading it in though... have you seen the 2011 S60? And you can get it in a T6... 300 HP. Man.

I work from home, so my commute is a walk down the stairs to the basement.
