Bike lights
I got a ticket a while back for not having a bike light, it was around 10 on a weeknight. A cop passes me, flips it, and actually pulls me over. Got it in the mail today: ITS $185 ****ING DOLLARS. 
I find the fee absolutely absurd. Just felt like warning the people who don't always roll with a light. And ranting.

You're from Davis.... police are exploiting how the majority of UCD students there ride bikes.

I don't understand why it's considered to be the bike capital. Yeah tons of people bike at UCD, but apart from that, I don't see it as a HUGE biking town. Not to mention there isn't a single competent shop around...
