Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I like how it looks, and $100 seems like a great deal.

Hi-Ten frame/fork, budget parts. For $100, I say go for it.
It'll be a lil heavy and won't score you any scene points but it shouldn't explode on you.

it's a very entry level bike. but it will get you from point a to point b. and for the price, that's a nice deal

That's bunk advertising, considering the Draft only has threads for a freewheel on one side of the rear hub.

If you're interested in riding SS and not fixed, it's a pretty good deal.

I bought my 09 SE Draft lite for $300 and it was 5months ago. Apparently I got ripped off.

If you're a hipster, you really want the cool Globe! Specialized is just in another century.

I wouldn't buy it at MSRP, but $100 is a steal. Go for it.

(Hi-ten = heavy = not fun to carry up and down apartment stairs)

Its heavy and the stem and bars are crap. Buy it for $100 and swap the stem and bars. For $100, id be all over it for a winter beater or bar hopper.
