Origin 8 Uno Sizing
Does anyone have experience with sizing of an Origin 8 Uno, particularly with stand over height/clearance? None of my LBS's carry the bike so I may need to do some driving to actually try one out. I'd like to get an idea of how they fit before I start looking for which sizes are in stock. I'm 5'7.5 and figured I'd be a 53 on the Uno, but the geometry chart on their website makes the bikes seem very large.

they're pretty classic geo. i ride with someone on a weekly ride with one and it's very comparable to your average surly or even an older trek or specialized.
i'm sure someone will link you to the competitive cyclist bike fit applet which will tell you what to measure and what to look at.
generally, height only gives you a ballpark. for a real fit, you have to take into consideration torso length, thigh length, inseam, and even wingsapien.

Thanks. I used the CC fit calculator when buying my road bike. I generally prefer 52s but can ride 54s. The Uno in a 53 sounded like it would be a perfect fit, but the geometry measurements on the website show an unusually large seat tube (53). Most other road bikes I've tried will have a seat tube measurement that's shorter than it's official size. That's what was throwing me off.
