Contest! Donate a dollar to a cause, win a bike rack!
Hey guys, I got this idea from another thread and thought it was a great idea.
To start, I make bike racks out of my garage to help pay for my tuition. They have gotten some good reviews on etsy, and I currently have a few shops locally, and one internationally carrying them. They are affordable, look great, and are super functional. They are made from cedar and birch, and can mount to a single stud or a stud on one side and a drywall anchor on the other. I have put my bike on it and sat on it and it doesn't budge! You can put your bike in it, and literally what ever else you can fit on top.
What I'd like to do is give one away to one of you in a raffle of sorts. It's super easy. Here's how it works:
1) Make a donation of at least 1 dollar, to any of these organizations. Donating in increments of 5$ will add your name again. (ex:10$ donation = name in hat twice)
National MS Society
The American Heart Association
Autism Speaks
American Diabetes Association
St. Jude's Children Hospital
Muscular Dystrophy Association
2) Forward me the confirmation email at elevatestorage@yahoo.com by Friday September 9th at Midnight
3) I will put your name into a hat, and pick one. The winner will receive a bike rack that will ship Monday to you for free!
We spend a lot of money on our bikes that we are all fortunate enough to ride. Some people don't have that option. So spare a little change and help someone out. All of these organizations are personal picks of mine due to important people I know being affected.
And if you'd like please check out my website at www.elevatewoodworks.com to see what else I make and other bike rack models.

Sorry! I should have put that the first time, my cousin has been battling it his entire life. Has been added. Also, if you'd like to contribute to an organization not listed that is ok too.
I also added a rule to add your name to the hat multiple times.

My fiancee says she wouldn't call it battling Muscular Dystrophy... I tell her, it's alright, at least she has a-trophy . . . HAHA, But seriously... The MDA telethon was this last weekend, and if you were watching KPTV you might have seen her. She is an amazing person, and MDA is a great non-profit.

My cousin is 21 and has been in a wheel chair since 9, but hes still going strong. Doctor said he would not live to see 12, but he proved him wrong. He is at the point where he has a helper golden retriever to help him do daily things. My grandpa has been in a few telethons in Houston for it as well. Great cause for such an unfortunate disease.
