Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

It seems that you are trying to drive traffic to your site. Let me save BF members some trouble:

Nah...myfixedgear.net is just a Velospace-type site where people can "rate" your bike along with making dumb comments.

I know...I don't get it either. I think it may be common practice for people to give low votes in order to boost their own bikes.

Silly interwebz...

Can I kick it,
To my tribe that flows in layers?
Right now, Phife is a poem sayer.
At times, I'm a studio conveyor.
Mr. Dinkins, would you please be my mayor?
Youll be doing us a really big favor.
Boy this track really has a lot of flavor.
When it comes to rhythms, Quest is your savior.
Follow us for the funky behavior.

Make a note on the rhythm we gave ya
Feel free, drop your pants, check your ha-ir
Do you like the garments that we wear?
I instruct you to be the obeyer
A rhythm recipe that you'll savor
Doesn't matter if you're minor or major
Yes, the Tribe of the game, rhythm player
As you inhale like a breath of fresh air

Did you guys single out Phife's wackest flow as an analogy to OP's bike? I.e. a turd in an otherwise decent/good repetoire?

Oodles and oodles of O's, you know
You get 'em from my sister
You get 'em from my bro
All I is is man, and once an embryo
Am I solid gold? I don't cast a glow
Yes, I guess it's reflex
Some have no control
I'd rather let a laughter
And tally, off I go
Canoeing up the river or out into the O
You just know we're not
So not play the role
Some are lovey-dovey, ah you crazy crow
Some shake your hand but
(This is called the show)

You know, guys, the lyrics only count if you typed them from memory. No copy pasting something that a middle-schooler transcribed.

The highest rating on the site is only 6.5, though.

Are you sure. I saw 10 stars, and slightly less than 6 were filled in at the time, so it seems that each star = 1 point and 10 stars is 10 points.

He means that it's not very common for bikes to be rated any higher than 6.5 - mostly due to people giving low ratings to others, as I mentioned earlier.

carleton - I know every word on that damn record.
