Ok. At any rate, welcome to BFSSFG. Your first thread gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect here. I really wasn't trying to give you a hard time. We joke around a lot here. It's like prison - you just need to learn the ropes.

Oh, and don't sit with gt35butt at lunch or you'll get shanked.

LOL!!!!

have you checked out the kilo tt pro? i know you probably want the stripper because of no decals, but it seems pretty nice with those sugino cranks.

The Pro is actually considerably better for only a little more money. Don't get me wrong, the Kilo is a nice bike but if BD's customer service stays the way it has been, I'd rather ride a Pista. Well, no. Nevermind.

Yeah, although the decals don't really bother me anymore. The Kilo TT pro doesn't come in black . I guess they have the black kilo TT in stock with decals, not 53cm though, 55. I don't know if i'm tall enough for that, since I heard they run big. I'm 5'9 1/2

If you worried about fitting, measure your inseam.

5' 9" on a 53 is a knee slapper.

Do your research before commenting. Kilos are measured c-c and the 53 fits more like a 55.

Sometimes they don't even reply to your responses.... they just do it.... for example when I asked about bikeisland (same company) about a park chainwhip; they didn't reply, instead, the next day put it in stock.

they do run big, my pista is a 53 with a 53.5 top tubewhich fits me perfect, my kilo is a 50, but it is a 53 center-top with a 52.5 top tube, but i am around 5'8

My inseam is 32in. Would the 55cm be the way to go?

You may be ok if you're not overly concerned with standover height (which you really shouldn't be). The Kilo has a shortish top tube so a 55 may be just right. At 5'10" I find most 58cm bikes to fit me very well when riding.

I help newbies aviod making mistakes. This guy was about to buy a 53, and without knowing his inseam I can tell you this is too small. Yes, we all know the kilos run big.

So what they hell are you talking about? shortish top tube= 55 "may be the right fit"
