Guys, what if...
What if Leader and Cinelli just sold 725s and MASHes complete?
Let's face it:
-Every properly built 725 and MASH looks the same.
-Every poorly built 725 and MASH looks ****ing atrocious.
So if they sold completes of proper builds, it would take a few things out of the equation and maybe there'd be less jack builds.

Because if they did people would complain that they don't want a bike like everyone else. Then they'd strip them down and do jackass things to them.
THIS was a stock complete Pista Concept in 2005:
Exact same stock bike with bullhorns for comfort (actually my old bike):
Which people didn't like...so they made these things:
So, see? There is no winning this.

seriously i liked it better when the jackassery was of the jackass's own creation.
when you have framesets it creates more jackassery because people are like "oh, 800, i can just stick to a budget for the parts and it will turn out awesome!"
fail. inevitable fail.

But if they strip them down that means we can buy striped items from inept jackasses for less money...soooo...

I don't think there would be less jack builds. people who are going to throw risers and aerospokes on their aluminum track frames are going to do so regardless.

If they started making complete versions of what should properly be a track bike, they'd end up looking like this:

Exactly. You can't trust their decision making either because they'll end up making them equally jackass-y because that's what's 'hot'. I'm thinking of that candy cane super pista right now

Am I losing it when I get mad at Paul Components for creating an American made product I don't like?

Paul is dumb for making those cranks. They don't look good on anything.

in all fairness, it's that chainring that doesn't look good on anything.
