Toobz.

1) ok to run, say, 700x23c toobz in 700x28c tire? yes? there some sort of unspoken larger range?

2) any good deals on bulk 700c toobz you've found? preferebly in the 25c-28c range and good valve length for typical deep Vs

I've run a 23 - 25c labled tube in a 28c tire and I'm still alive to post this. And yes there are larger tubes.

lol i figured it would be fine...i run 28c tires. oh and by larger range, i meant like....well tubes come in a range, like 23-25...but i was wondering if those same tubes really are more like 18-32 but manufacturers like having all these different ranges to sell or something.

and if anyone is aware of a good deal on bulk tubes lemme know! ill go check ebay now and post if i find anything worthwhile.

Going up in size on tubes usually ain't a big deal.

I ran a 650c tube in one of my 700c fronts for over a year because it was in the 700 bin and I bought it by accident.

I had to do that too when I was out on the road. It just felt sketchy pumping up, but it worked

OP, you should see how much tubes can expand when you pump them without a tire.

PricePoint tubes, 10 for $20.

That many tubes would last you like 4 years, longer if you patch them.

I run a 700x23-25 in a 700x28 tire right now. My LBS was out of the proper size and assured it would work. I've been on it for close to two months. At first, I didn't think it would inflate enough. I was wrong.

And the funny part is I went through five 700x28 tubes in four months. Go figure. Some of those blown tubes I attribute to radical, brief temperature changes.
