NYCBikes vs. IRO Wheelset

Im looking to replace my wheelset. Found two pretty good deals,

$225 - https://www.bikesnyc.com/item.php?item_id=254
$249 - https://www.irocycle.com/fixedgearand...einc/id72.html

whats the deal with these, are they crap, is one significantly better than the other?

This is biased, but I'd say go with the IRO's. I don't know about bikesnyc (they have a lot of geared bikes on their site), but IRO is a hardcore SS/Fixed company, and Tony is one hell of a nice guy. I'm dirt-floor-cracker poor, but I still spend a bit more if it supports something that I love.

NYC Bikes has bad service - inquired about a wheelset ages ago, never got back to me. I built up a friend's bike with the deluxe IRO set - very very very nice wheels and yes, Tony is a super nice guy.

anyone have experience with bens bike wheels? Their "32-hole*High-Flange Hubs" hubs look exactly like IRO hubs cept they're black - and they're a lot cheaper...
