Dunno why you're picking on that bike. Car drivers here hate cyclists, that bike simply justifies it.

Okay, I'll try for what I do like about this bike. The frame is nice. I like the saddle. The brakes and bars aren't too bad. I can even overlook the gross mis-application of a DA crankset.
I think it could be decent if you
1. Lose the pool noodle on the top tube.
2. get normal wheels
3. even you keep the Spinergies, get matching tires
4. get a normal stem
5. trim off some of that excess brake cable+housing.
6. get pedals with toe cages and straps, unless you're freewheeling, then platforms are fine.

Stop being polite, it's inappropriate in this thread
Actually, one of the joys of this thread is it highlights the differences in people's views and ideas, not in a negative way, but in a way you can use to learn about other people and their bikes. That doesn't mean I'm suddenly going to start liking bikes like this, I'm too much of a traditionalist for that, but being able to recognise insanity in others is an important part of understanding your own insanity.

That doesn't look like a TT bike from BITD, is that an old F1 bike like these?
Yes, that is indeed Mavic zap on this thing:
Lookit these sweet ass dudes
I didn't know they made spinergy wheels in sizes other than 26" or 700c.
E: It is indeed a TT bike (schwinn prologue) and not a F1 bike, just wanted to spam pics.

^^^
1) Valve stems not aligned with tire logos
2) Green bottle cage on seat tube
3) Slack rear brake cable along top tube.

It's probably just a trick of the light but it looks like he's tried to colour match the fluid in his drink bottle with the frame

Not a fan of the chainring milling design. Seems like a silly way to up production cost yet not achieve anything spectactular in the process.
