Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I'll bite

I guess you learned nothing about my indecisiveness from that thread. I'd hardly call that build epic, deep Vs and omniums seem like a pretty standard build and something that's easily moved from frame to frame

And even if that "raw" was my frame (it's not but I got a pretty blue one too!), it costs a whopping $200 for the frame and fork, even if I worked at wal mart with you I'm sure I could scrounge that up in 2 weeks. Where were you when I bought my Mash to call me out! You can do better than a black friday deal to call me an idiot

I'm not wiping my ass with $100 bills or I'd keep the Rush, but I can only ride one bike at a time, so I'm trying to get down to 2 bikes, maybe 3 frames. Rather than keep them around like wall art / cred.

Thank you, brotha *desmond voice*

Being nice (or even a nice smart ass) and part of the community is a lot easier than it seems, you know. If I'm giving someone a hard time ever, it's in fun 99.9998% of the time. It's just as easy (and I think more fun) as being a Debbie Downer! I promise.

You do need some foot retention though.

I do. My Draft, which will be my winter bike once I get the wheels trued and the lock ring tightened, has clips/straps on it. My bike spending is on hold until after Christmas, I will have retention on the 722 before Spring for sure.

a 47 would be perfect, but a 49 is manageable... barely

will probably replace the seatpost soon. if anyone has a straight one, we'd trade

wasn't ready to drop $100 on a 31.8 set of track drops so I'm doing the 100mm X4 atm. did not expect this kind of rise out of it. I'll probably end up throwing it under a spacer once I'm done

also trying out my first 172.5 crank arms
