Those welds look SOO SMOOTH...If they happen to re-issue the Chrome purple, I don't think I'd be able to help myself!

Aside from the stays being about an inch shorter, I believe it's the same as the V2:

this front end geometry is suitable though fairly aggressive. comparing normalized lengths, this 51 is 20mm longer than the 47cc50ct kilo, which is already a bit long.

I have yet to find it comfortable to take my DSLR and the Point and shoot that I am working with at the moment needs to be thrown into the trash...but since it still functions as a camera, it's life will be spared. I'm currently on the hunt for a better lens (50mm) for a better, more convenient package to carry around and photograph my bike

Just curious, what's the camera body you use? Sorry, just wondering as I'm a bit into DSLR's myself after that one general education photography class in college.

5D mark II with battery grip... I'm a sucker for longevity and a vertical shutter button.

    Aha news man/ paparazzi style!

Gotta love the full 1080p video capabilities.
If you had a 24-105mm lens and no battery grip, we could have twin cameras.
That's a great general purpose lens in my opinion.

Jah-No, I 4-GO'd the 24-105 because I am a fan of Prime's... Also, I can't stand being outside at like 8pm and not being able to get a decent shot (this was back in my XTi days)..

Lol you must not mind hauling one of them around then....

On another note, I can't wait to see what canon has in store for the next rendition of the 5D considering its been out for quite awhile.

still some minor changes left to it before it's ready to grace the forums. Forks not quite sitting tight, needs a new front tire and grip tape then a cleanup from the greasing.

What's up with your fork? Not enough spacers/crown race not seated properly?

I'm not sure. I'll take it to the co-op on saturday and mess with the crown race. I can't seem to find the perfect spacer setup without the stem coming slightly off the fork. On a full carbon would it be an issue if I ride it like that?

Did you install a star nut in there?

How much is the stem coming off the fork? For a carbon steerer, it's best to have the stem clamping onto the compression plug so your stem doesn't crumble up your steerer.
