Only in black, and I bet you can get a coghouse ebay auction for cheaper...though I haven't seen any 725's for awhile.

    How tall are you? I'm 6'3" and have a 61cm 721...Kinda wish I'd gone with a 58 instead.

I'm really tempted on getting this. Can someone with experience with Leader frames tell me what would be the benefit in paying almost double the price for the 2011 frame?

Well, if you don't care about the V2 chainstays being too long or the seatstays attaching to the seatube too far down or the dropout plates only being on the outside then get the V2.

The V2 also had some problems with certain cranksets not clearing the chainstays. The single-sided dropout plates were only on the very first wave of V2s.

my bet is that it's steel.
though those dropouts are confusing, i think they're just filed.
and it looks kinda good... i'm surprised.

Pretty sure that's just a MASH painted silver. The PC x Leader frame is supposedly in production though.

If you follow the link some blogger is saying it is the PCxLeader frame.

Not really a fan of PC, sorry if that offends. Also, they seem to be all about FGFS, why make "pursuit" frame like this?

I know, but I'm not sure if that's the actual frame.

PC is cool and Patrick is a good dude. I'm sure the design had a lot to do with what he likes to ride.

So I just switched the front brake lever from the right side of the stem to the left, because the cable routing was pissing me off. The cable housing crossed over the headtube, obscuring the logo, but even worse it was rubbing on the headtube, wearing the paint and marring the logo. Every time I operated the lever, the housing would pull away from the headtube and then slap it when the lever was released. The housing would drag noticeable on the headtube when I turned the bars. The reason I was using a right lever for the front brake is that I'm used to this setup from my motorcycle experience, but since I hardly ever use the brake anyways it's no big deal to switch control to my left hand. I managed to use about 1/2 as much cable housing with the left brake lever location.

    bike looks great!

i was having the delima with left or right side for lever.

decided to go right...dominant hand, can look over left shoulder with right hand ready to brake and i'm used to right side braking on my bmx.

i took my headbadge off since the one that came with it was chipping...got a replacement from leader, but they only had the all silver one and it's very cheap looking.

Thanks! I normally have my front brake lever on the right side of the bar, either a drop bar lever with a hood or a BMX / MTB lever on a flat bar next to the grip. I have a front brake on my FG street bikes only for emergencies / safety and rarely if ever use it, especially on my FG bikes like the Leader where I use road clipless pedals and shoes for maximum foot retention. Under normal conditions I use backpedalling to brake on my FG bikes. The only exception is when I'm hauling a heavy load on my Kilo WT and sometimes use the front brake to assist my legs when braking, especially on a long / steep downhill.

No different than building any other wheel really. I had the Formation Face hoop hanging on my wall forever and figured it was about time to do something with it. I've got to admit though...I was handling that hub like it was a newborn baby!

i dunno, the dropouts and fork are different on the mash. but then again, if it was the leader, wouldn't it have the i806tr fork? maybe its a dodici.

actually, this is really confusing. but anyways, it looks good.
