I don't know exactly what you mean by fake but: They are Sugino Pistas, are they a rip off of someone elses design?

Very interesting, I wasn't aware there was so much hate towards them nor that they were made by anyone else. Thanks for the heads up. BTW from my experiences they're just fine.. stiff and look good AKA what a crankset should do, the only oddity about them is the BCD but I've found plenty of rings for them. I assume the hate is because it's not 144bcd and not made by sugino?

not hate for the non sugino or the 144bcd, the sugino messengers arent 144 either. But the fact that some guy stuck a sugino branding on something that is not, that's low. As I said before though, they look good

    Lovely bikes.

I was wondering why like leader 722 they have built-in bolts in dropouts but most of the leader bikes do not.

Do you mean chain tension adjuster screws ? It's a function of the dropout design. It only works when the chainstays are offset from the dropouts.

I have this function on my bike too but I just want to ask why part of the leader bikes have it while some do not. I know theres no answers so I am just wondering

So, you might as well ask why all Leader bike frames aren't the same color.

I got some food from a taco truck last night and noticed that some of the tacos had chicken in them and some came with other kinds of meat. Why is that? All the tacos came from the same truck, shouldn't they all be the same?

Got the 721 built up last night. Just need to rewrap my bars.
Budget wheelset and cranks, they'll be replaced once I get some more money.
Unfortunately the 28c wouldn't fit on the rear, so I had to throw a 25c Thickslick on it. I don't hate it though.

EDIT: how do you make pictures pop up bigger?

There's no law that says you have to slam the rear wheel. If you move it back a bit in dropout, you can easily fit a 28mm or even larger tire.

Also, why did you put the stickers on the insides of the stays ?

I agree with you there. Unfortunately I was dumb and sized my chain for the tire to be slammed, then realized the 28 wouldn't fit. And I couldn't get another link to break on the leftover bit of chain. It's one of the 710sl chains where the pins are mushroomed, so I was having a hard time getting them out with my cheap breaker.

The retro sticker I messed up on. I wanted it on the inside of the chainstay, but should've had it further back so it would still be visible. I just goofed and it's hidden by the tire now.

First build, so I learned a few lessons along the way.

edit: like JamesCraps said, I saw it on a build, I think it may have been one of Scrod's. Thought it looked cool on the chainstay.

For sure you want it on the chainstay or seatstay, but on the outside IMO:

^^Had i realized that the "leader" decal was only on the drive side, I probably would have thrown it on the outside of the chainstay on the NDS. That side of the bike looks really plain, but I don't wanna go overboard with stickers.
