Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Help me find a fork

If you know who makes a pinarello style fork like this, let us know:

smooth, 1-piece-looking, chrome, steel, 700c, either steerer size, price and rarity not as ridiculous as a pinarello.
Hope you guys can help, thanks.

I bought one of these once. The steerer is too thin to thread and the race is JIS. I flipped it because I didn't know these things but the price is right if that works for you.

So it has to be unicrown? That kind of fork is an 80's thing, so you might be best looking for something used.

These are the chrome forks I can think of, all of which are lugged (Price/Type~$12/Axle-to-crown/Offset):

Soma Straight-Blade ($150/1" or 1 1/8", threaded or threadless/365mm/41mm or 38mm):

Soma Track (~$130/1" threaded or threadless/ /41mm or 38mm):

Origin8 Track ($40!/1" or 1 1/8" threaded or threadless/ / 38mm):

Spicer Track ($125/1 1/8" threadless / 365mm / 43mm):

Bikecult ($75 / 1" threaded / / 43mm):

Here is a fork that looks similar to the ones zacked posted, but not really anything like what you posted.

mondonico lugged columbus EL? this one happens to be a 70th anniversary. price & rarity likely beyond pinarello...

your photo looks to be a sloping crown, internally lugged fork (not unicrown, which are welded). the vast majority will be externally lugged, as many previous suggestions have shown. if you should actually find something internally lugged and have got to have that look, i would grab it up...they will be few and far between.

internally lugged should be exactly what i'm thinking of.
as far as the mondonico lol, i cant even find much on it on a google search

has anyone tried the all-city track fork?

(i know i know its white so maybe a paint strip)

also the bikecult one looks kinda cute too but 43mm rake? whats the rake on the 55cm+ kilos? (is what the website says accurate? 28mm?)

oh...so not only do you want the chrome internal lug look, you want it to actually work with the frame you're putting it on?

43 is a typical road rake...40-45 being the most common range. i sincerely doubt you will find anything every remotely like you want it to look outside of that range, unless you go to a custom builder. at which point you will have spent more on the fork than on the entire rest of the bike (assuming it is actually a kilo).
