Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Schwinn Exit Freewheel Single Speed versus Takara Kabuto Single Speed

I'm wanting to purchase my first road bike other than my old Schwinn's that I picked up off of Craigslist. Here's the 2 bike that I have come up with at my price range. I just getting into riding I know they are way down the list. If anyone has tired one of these or have another bike they would recommend in this price range, let me know.
Thanks!
These bikes are 200 to 250 list
