Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Spend $10 at the bike co-op to pick up a stem.

His bars have a clamp diameter that is too big for his stem. He needs to go from 26.0 to 25.4, not 25.4 to 26.0.

LOL. Yes. I have a stem that has 25.4 clamp. And i have road drops that have 26 clamp diameter.

Thats like saying wear double socks to get into your shoes when your shoes are too small (:

Scrod, please consider making a thread just for evilcryalotmore, where he can post all of his questions and "brilliant" threads.

It seriously seems like you make at least 2 new threads a day.
