50-52t chainrings 144bcd?

Hey guys.

I already have SRAM Omnium/Truvativ crankset. Only available in a 48t setup.

I was wondering what some good quality 50-52t chainrings are available in 144bcd right now. I know it sounds kinda weird, but I wanted to put a 50 or 52t chainring on the crank since the smallest freewheels I could find so far are 16t. If you can help me find a smaller freewheel then Ill forget about getting a larger chainring.

Haha. Just needed some help.

Smaller freewheel will not be able to fit on your hub.

FSA rings are hands down the best bang for the buck chainring for the track, 51 is the largest available.

And if you are really desperate for a 52, Stronglight makes one that is pretty affordable as well.

dura ace goes to 13t

there are 12t but you generally need to use half links with 1/8th systems which are heavy and not very efficient.

9t on a bmx hub with half links

go big or go dumb

If you don't insist on 3mm wide teeth for 1/8" chain, there are boatloads of 144mm BCD road chainrings you could use. Sugino used to make them up to 60T if you're man enough for that.

N.B. 1/8" chain runs fine on road chainrings.
