LOL I guess I'm too; I run a 3/32 cog on my commuter with a 1/8 chain and set of omniums...
OR is this just me posting from beyond the grave? I live 3 blocks down from Satan's mansion if you happen to be by the area.

In summary, 1/8 chain is fine on 3/32 gears. But not the the other way around.

a=1/8=0.125
b=3/32=0.09375
You're asking, "Will a fit on b?"

can this(having 3/32" cog with 1/8" chain) be noisier than 1/8" cog with 1/8" chain?
this is my first fixed gear bike. so I can't tell it is noisier or not comparing to other fixed bicycles...
but my coworker said usually fixed gear bike is quite than a freewheel one..
I have a flip-flop hub.. so it is the same bike.
But I feel fixed side is noisier than freewheel side... freewheel side cog is 1/8" and fixed side cog is 3/32". Chain is 1/8".
Can it be this cog width problem or just from something else?
