Nitto RB001 versus Nitto RB002
Is there a difference between these two? If so, what is it?
I hadn't even heard of the RB001 until a few days ago.

This bike has RB001s:
https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/cinelli-mash-20-2074
This bike has RB002s:
https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/cinelli-gazzetta-2119
It's hard to tell because the second Gazzetta pic looks stretched out or it's just at a weird angle.
RB001:
RB002:
I think they look they same, but I don't see why they'd name them differently. I'm trying to decide if I want the RB001/002 or the Syntace Stratos with the sweepback. The Stratos look ugly, but comfortable. Meh.

The RB-001's have sweep back too, if you don't like the look of the Stratos. I will say that the sweep back on my Stratos 200's is incredibly comfortable.

I rode my buddies samson and he had rb 002's mated to a jaguar stem, they're super solid compact bullhorns that did not compromise hand positions much. I loved them! I would buy a pair but the price you pay for them is ridiculous considering how much you get physically.

Do you say the RB001s have sweep back from experience, or from the picture? I ask because I can't tell from the picture if they have sweep back or if it is just the angle of the picture.

I think they are the same bar but one has 25.4mm(001) and the other has 26mm clamp.

If this is true, this would explain the stem uses on both bikes yummy linked above. The person with the 001 is using a Thomso Elite x4 and the person with 002 is using a Dimension, a 26mm stem.

That could very well be it. Good eye. If that is the case, I no longer want the RB001s!

I'm just looking at the pictures. It looks to me that they very clearly have some sweep back.

001 = 25.4mm clamp, 380mm width
002 = 26mm clamp, 370mm width
Personally, I love my RB002s. They were pricy, but i'll probably keep them for as long as I ride fixed.

Yea there is, especially when you calculate the amount of bars/ stems produced in the bicycle boom and all that generic bars coming from china/ taiwan... I just complain because most bullhorns are 26.0 (especially those by nitto and syntace) while most their track drops are 25.4 (regarding nitto); how that seemingly little minute difference prevents me from safely mix - matching the sizes. I hate shims aswell. Also I'm lazy, so I don't have to go through my entire garage looking for my 26.0 stems if I want to mount a set of bullhorns.
