Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

No you're not gonna die, plus if your chainline isn't perfect it will make less noise

I don't think 3/32 is NJS approved. You may not be allowed to participate in Keirin races. Therefore, you will surely die.

It's a simple algorithm:

1/8" chain and 1/8" cogs/chainrings = no prob.
1/8" chain and 3/32 cogs/chainrings = no prob.
3/32" chain and 1/8" cogs/chainrings = FAIL.
