I'd say it's time for a new tire.
Also, my Conti grand prix 4 seasons did not last long at all. They are noticeably worn down after only 4 1/2 months. Don't skid, they are on the road bike. They do have lots of miles on them already though. But my gatorskins on the track bike have lasted a heck of a lot longer.

correction.
it's 2 months old I guess, daily ride all the way downhill to campus on weekdays, 20-30 miles ride every weekends. slip&slide baby LOL
soft-slick-compound? it's like my front Detonator 23c. Yep, best tyre IMO are gatorskins. They (maybe) had the strongest grip, need to get used a couple times to do midskids with gatorskins (well, I've tried my friend's gatorskins and it's heavier to do midskids with it than my Detonator)

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
1975 Bridgestone Kabuki... in the works and under the watchful eye of my killer shop dog.
Once I build the new wheels it should come together pretty quickly as there is not that much to do after that.

Is it just me, or is that IRO purple?
Also, I'd agree that the fork looks a little weird. Then again, I'm not madly in love with bare knuckles.

Your cog is slipping.
I'll agree that it looks a little strange from the side but you need to keep in mind that the blades aren't round - they're actually very flat on the outside.
