Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

hahah good call on the bb. And I wish I was there, while at the same time, I'm not. I'm seeing people I haven't seen in years. Plus, I would've made an ass out of myself.

I like it lol. And I would sig it, but that would be really poor form. I don't consider myself a tool, while I can understand why many posters here consider the contrary. Oh what a wonderful, awkward situation I put myself in.

I realize now this whole post makes me a tool. **** it.

This is how I talk, and I consider the forums to be conversational in nature, so I post like I would be talking to a group of people. If you get tired of me on the internet, imagine what my friends have to put up with on a daily basis.

Plus, I had just smoked, and I'm extremely outwardly expressive when I'm high. I like the idea of other people seeing what goes through my head, so I usually speak with little filtering, even in person. This has gotten me into plenty of arguments/fights. I expect the world to not give a **** as much as I do, and apparently, as a collective, they decided that I was crazy. I also don't like when I'm disrespectful, but at the same time, I can't stand being disrespected. /internettoughguy /paranoia

Why can't we treat forums like chatrooms? I feel like members (including myself) are on here enough for it to be as quick as a chatroom.

inb4 that ****** ass solipsist (whatever the **** his **** name is) chimes in on his views of how great my story is. I still hate the **** out of that kid/guy/*****.

edit: 711th post. I had a weakass night.

I don't think you're crazy, and I don't mind when people post long posts.

But yours are almost always unrelated and unwarranted rants about yourself in some way, not usually information that would be helpful to other people on the forum. Not everyone is interested in how your brain operates or what things you are into. That's why solipsist chimed in when you described how you are not a hipster, etc. To be honest I really found that you handled that poorly.

That's why I say think before you post. If you find that post or this post disrespectful, I'm sorry. But think about it. It's not always about you or defending yourself.

I get what you're saying and I know I handled that debacle completely wrong.

I guess I'm being way too personal and sharing with strangers. You can't say I don't have informative contribution, at least from time to time, though. I love ranting though, its getting **** off my chest. I guess I think about myself too much, or at the very least, I'm outwardly expressive to an excessive level.

Good **** though. I should've realized you guys don't give a **** about my personal problems.
