those old raleighs are fantastic.

i threw an old mesinger saddle on my schwinn world tourist, and put some handlebars on it. it's by no means finished, the only things i intend on keeping are the frame and the bars. i just needed to get around on something. wondering whether to post a picture now, or just wait till its finished... i dont want to get bashed haha

It was a too small for me, the '74 raleigh fits me better as does my newer commuter track bike. Just wasn't riding it much.

This is my commuter, a custom "Brooks" built here in Raleigh, NC. I've since switched the bullhorns out for FSA compact roadbars.

The brake cable housing is still under the bar tape, from when I had different levers lol. Got lazy and didn't want to re-wrap the bars. Going to have to do it soon anyway, though.

Traded for studded MTB tires and eggbeaters out of the partsbin. Pumped. Not sure which direction I'm going to take it, but it's a classic.

I started a new thread to show my first SS build, but the thread got closed down and it was suggested that this is the proper place to post my pic, so here it is. I would have taken a picture outside, but the weather is horrible at the moment.

I just finished building up my first track frame. It's an Alien from around '09.

This frame was built up with about half spare parts to keep things budget friendly. This bike was already a sticker bike, but I've added a few of my own. I'm not sure how I feel about the chain guard, but I put it on to occupy the ugly chainring holes going through the crank spider.

Might want to put a brake on that to save your knees.

Ha yeah, Denton is pretty flat. It's 52.15 I want to go 49.15 eventually, and I'll put a brake on as soon as I muster the courage to drill the fork.

That is a very purposeful build, v. Nice.

It's nice to see that even pinarello isn't exempt from all too common the seatstay/dropout angle mismatch on their larger frames.
