Probably final setup:http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=312241

Been riding my Kilo for 2 years now and it's amazing. Probably might want to repaint it maroon or burgundy sometime in the future.

 I know, stupid question. Imho the stock rims are decent.

sosojeffcc 05-06-13 07:37 AM

the stock rims are freakin heavy as crap. if you haven't ridden anything else you won't really notice tho. I actually went from a Wabi wheelset to the archetypes, so i'm actuallying going up in weight. I haven't ridden the archetypes after throwing em on just yet, but I'm hoping the 23mm width will be similar to the ride of the HED ardennes on my road bike.

The amount of potholes, and other things I went through on the road Im surprised they are holding up very well and are still true. Though I would like to upgrade them soon in the near future. Thanks for the info.

So, Bikesdirect is sold out of these, where else can I get my hands on one?

spRICE 05-12-13 01:45 PM

You could check Bikeisland.com. Kilo TTs go on sale there all the time, you just have to get lucky to get your size/color.

hbryanlopez 05-14-13 11:05 PM

guys, what's the difference between the kilo tt bike and a bike from big shot? i've hear a lot of good things with the kilo tt but the bigshots bikes looks are luring me and that price is $390 shipped. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sustainability
Big Shot was created in 2009. Since that time, other bike companies have come and gone, trying to duplicate the quality and affordability of a Big Shot. The fact that Big Shot has not only survived, but thrived, tells you plenty about our business versus our competitors.

Assembled in the USA
All assembly and quality control is done right here in Fort Collins, Colorado. While some companies ‘hide’ address and contact information, our facilities, including the showroom and warehouse, are always open to the public during business hours.
These quotes make me lol

Ha, I don't get to campus from that way, but I have gone around it before. It seems a lot bigger when you're on two wheels.

New Kilo TT 55cm, still adjusting bars, etc. Added Traitor saddle, Tektro front brake, Surly 17 tooth cog w/ Surly lockring. Next up, replace those shady pedals. Really liking the ride so far!

hello all, here's my kilo tt pro. I painted the wheels all black and added nitto bars. I love riding this thing, so glad to have listened to all the advice on this forum.
