I actually planned on going last Saturday coincidentally, but medical emergencies proved otherwise. If the weather comes through, which I doubt it will, I'll try to make it this Saturday and just use a rental. I will definitely be there next-next Saturday though, again, weather permitting.
rather excited.

I'll be there the following weekend. Mucky should be there too, along with some other friends.

I think it really depends on how much you're going to be swapping out from the get-go.
I bought the TT Pro, still using the cranks, ring, headset, BB, wheels after almost 4 years.
I swapped out everything else, though, multiple times. I will be swapping out the wheel setup here soon after I order from Scrod tomorrow.

Well, the Pro comes with slightly better parts, and I think it is, like, ~100$ more IIRC. If you are going to ride it into the ground, though, and like the chrome Stripper, why not just purchase the chrome Stripper?

That catlike helmet is the only catlike I want to wear. The other ones, with a million holes in them, looks disturbing like a giant wig or perm, or... beehive.

Your cog is slipping.
I wish I could fit a catlike Whisper on my giant head.
