    Just got owned by tracksupermarket :(

    Ordered a padded, covered Kashimax aero 44mm rails and a Nitto JSP72 seatpost with 44mm rails to go with it. About a week's processing, which was fine, then only 2 days to get from Osaka to my door. I come home from class all super excited because after the seatpost and saddle all I need are cranks and a chainring for my Presto to be ride ready.

    Anyways, I open the package and what do I have? A plastic BMX Kashimax saddle and a Nitto JSP72 seatpost with 30mm rails, so my crappy uncomfortable piece of plastic I got doesn't couldn't even go on my seatpost anyways.

    What should I do? I know from reading around that Rene dosn't really respond to E-mails, and it would be a pain in the ass to try and return this stuff anyway, but that is like $200 of uselessness, not to mention the non padded/covered Kashimax Aero is like $60 less expensive. Give me some ideas!

    tl;dr - I got the wrong parts, PITA to send back, what should i do?

    At least send him an email or two to make it look like you tried to communicate with him. Then, Paypal dispute (assuming you used Paypal).

    If he sent you something other than you ordered and refuses to refund you or cover return shipping and give you the correct order, Paypal will side with you. I've had a vendor tell me they sent me something twice, but I never got anything after waiting for 2 months. Paypal got my back.

    True I am complaining, I was actually asking if i should go through returning/exchanging the items, or just sell them new here and recoup my losses, but thanks anyways

    They screwed up, they pay for shipping both ways. If they don't, create a blog and ***** and moan about it so you get the word out or create a post like this one.

    didn't even think about paypal dispute, I just sent him an E-mail and will give him a few days, but I guess if it comes down to it..

    Check the Paypal rules about the dispute filing process. I think you have 45 days or so to file a claim, and then XX days to escalate it to a dispute. Or something. It's all there on the website.

    The best is to try to work it out with him in person, but sometimes they need a little coercion.

    well i did e-mail him, i was trying to get opinions on what to do should he not respond, i even used the search button that everyone is so anal about, and wit my searching i found that people usually had trouble getting in touch with him..

    i don't really see why you guys are so bent out of shape, its because i dont have a leader isnt it

    it is. i'm trolling this worthless thread in hopes it gets closed. we don't know that you didn't just click the wrong box on an order form, or maybe you misread the listing or webstore page.

    plus, it shipped in two days. in four days this could all be over. why are you badmouthing the guy when you probably just sent him the email after post #3?

    if i say "Should I wear shoes to the store? I got them on my feet and they don't feel comfortable at all. Plus i read that they only work if you tie them, and i don't really want to wear shoes to the store anyway." it gives the impression i never tied my shoes.

    how do you know i didnt email him before though? the world will never know. im not badmouthing him either, i just searched the forums like you a-holes always yell at people to do and the results were that rene didnt respond to emails that well...
    and im just trolling everyone who has posted something like you as well, thank you yummygooey, the rest of you, congrats on being the man, because if you guys didnt care as much as you try and make it seem you wouldnt have even replied.
