Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Good deal on a new bag...

If any of you are in the market for a new bag, you should check out the Jandd offerings.

I ride everywhere everyday and needed something larger to hold my *****. I've participated in a number of the "messer bag" posts on this board, continually debating what I am going to get, asking questions, and losing cool points.

I had my heart set on a REload, however, recent financial situations have crushed that dream pretty well. The problem being that I still needed a big bag. Dang. I had even considered making a bag for myself, as I am rather handy with the sewing machine.

So, Seely posts about his Jandd, we exchange several PM's and I continue to look around. I heavily considered their Iniki model after seeing it for $55 on their website. They are large, not so feature-rich as other bags, but made very well. I have a thing about buying American, and these fit the bill.

The other day, on my eBay hunt I spotted one for $29.99 Buy It Now. Done. For $30 I couldn't even buy the materials to make my own bag, plus if I outgrow its features/quality/etc. its not much money to blow.

It should be here soon, and I'll let you know how it is after some use. Just thought I would pass along the deal, as I think the seller may be listing some more in the future.

-Pete

Yeah, $15 counts as piracy, yet it is still cheaper than buying it through Jandd and paying their $8 shipping fee.

Now spanking, thats a different story altogether.....
