This is a very inspirational thread. When I lived in California photography was my hobby. But since moving to Illinois, I've lost my inspiration. I enjoyed nature photography but it's more challenging for me here.
Here's one from Point Reyes in CA (shot on slide film, prior to me getting into digital):
And another from Door County, WI (this time digital):
Unfortunately, I don't spend any time with Photography anymore. I just occasionally take photos of my bikes or misc. family gatherings and that's about it

A few photos from a photobook I've been working on for about 3 years now. That might sound like a long time, but out of thousands and thousands of images I still don't feel I have the body of work for it. I have a friend contributing a few images I really like but otherwise I'm reliant on only my images.
Next year for sure.
It's all night shots of Baltimore.
I love this photo, but sometimes feel like I need to re-shoot it. I think it might be our "history" together. I've spent probably 10-12 nights over the years taking this shot. Every time its freezing cold and I'm not in the mood for it. I think it shows no matter what I do. I never come here when I'm in the mood to shoot or its warm. Mysterious of the universe? who knows.
Another cold night waiting for lights to line-up with a good amount of cars. It was about 2 AM on a weekday night. You can see some Christmas decorations 2 lights up the street.
Ravens made it to the SuperBowl and the town was purple.. literally:
Must have fell on the ice about 10 times just to get that last one. There was a thick layer of ice under all that snow. I post-poned this shot for it to snow again thinking I'd have some traction but about half way through I realized it didn't help. lol
Some of them have lost some details during compression. Especially the ship photo, you can see it in the hotel sign. They look much better printed.

Hello photographer and photographers. Can anyone please hint how I can duplicate a shot like this with a DSLR and a wireless flash? And can I shoot something like this in a bedroom with one source of light besides the pop-up flash on the camera itself?
I would really appreciate it!

Remember to put the flash on manual mode and turn it down a lot. There will probably be lots of trial and error getting the power right.
You can also use a homemade snoot on a constant light like a desk lamp.
1 light source left of the subject and maybe slightly behind.
Finish-off the photo with some levels and burning in photoshop to clean up unwanted stuff form the background...unless you have a black backdrop.
Here is one of mine with stage lights providing a similar effect.
