FUJI Feather

Noticed some good deals... but don't hear much about this bike. Any experience?

We had a couple at the shop last year. The bars are useless (no real room for an adult-sized hand on either the tops or in the drops), the stem flexes like a mofo and the wheelset weighs a ton. There are better options out there.

I have seen so many of those around lately. They look pretty sharp, so if Scrod doesn't scare you off with the weight/ridability issues, and you just want to look sweet...

if you dont mind me asking where'd you find a good deal besides the 61cm & 49cm blue and pink ones? i've been searching for a while now. i plan on picking one up soon, and wheels, stem, and bars will be gone the day i buy it. for the price there are better options out there....but they all have threadless forks. im willing to pay a little extra for threaded. seems like there's no market out there for a new classic looking track bike w/o spending $800+

I'm in the same boat as you.

But thats not much less than the IRO angus complete build, which seems to be made of much better components

they're still $600. the cycle choice website that has them for 540 is pick up only or some random shipping option that isn't free. the ones for sale for $600 are free shipping.

the angus is a good deal, im just not a fan of the "i go fast" logo, takes the classic styling and throws it out the window.

Is the langster steel a better-equipped complete (if one is looking for a threaded OTP)?

If you find a GREAT deal... why not? if it fits it fits... If you're looking for a fuji feather i don't think you'll be racing... probably just commuting/posing. so if you like it, go for it
