I think I would destroy anything that light.

They're KinLin XC-279s. 23 wide, 28 deep, averaged 465g a piece. Not too bad at 70 bucks a rim. Nicest machining I've ever seen by far.

nah...not with a solid, handbuilt wheelset...you'd be fine!
you could always go 24h/28h if you were worried....i use ird cadence aero's a lot, also...strong and stiff...they're at 465g also...kinda on the narrow side though..that's my only gripe.
i ran 24h/28h cadence aero rims laced to zipp hubs on my bianchi...weighed around 1300g and rode hard...i was around 250lbs when i rode them, also.

Yeah, I think my spoke choice was the issue. Definitely should have went drive side Races on the A23s. I was getting major brake rub. Had to leave my calipers damn near open just to ride them.

people hate on dt and always go sapim...but comps are the best spoke going imo...revolutions are badass, but are way more finicky.
i've used sapims in the past, also...but comps are my go-to.

I honestly don't care. I would likely destroy a geared road bike in short order.

Raced an alleycat today. Did some illegal stuff every other block. Finished 6th, two minutes behind my friend who finished 1st. My avg speed was 17.8mph during the race. By comparison, my avg speed while working as a courier is ~11mph.
Top 10 list here:

Today I received my fenders, yay! Unfortunately they were waiting for me at home while I rode home in the rain. Also finally got my tool kit good to go, you can see my awesome Avengers pencil bag I turned into a saddle bag I played bikes behind the couch while wife and her friend watched twilight

Today while I was on my way back to the to the shop after going to the Post Office, I got yelled at by a guy on a crappy mountain bike for WALKING on the sidewalk. Apparently, I was in his way.

Today I'm celebrating the holiday and headed downtown to do some wine tasting.

Also hope to grab some records since its record store day.

Ugh, Picnic Day is today, which means drunk students lining the streets downtown starting at 9 AM. But it's okay, there's, uh... other celebrations happening today.
