Fell over at an intersection while riding with one hand on my bars and the other hand holding a box that was too big for my backpack.

I lolled at my own jackassery.

Today a strong gust of wind blew an empty garbage can off the curb and directly in front of me. I was out of the saddle, in the horns and going pretty fast and although I didn't crash, I did hit it pretty hard and came way too close to eating a big batch of ****.

Today I went on my first decent ride riding fixed. It was awesome. There were a lot of people on the bike path today. It was awesome. Lot of cute sqrl joggers and such. And we rode past a park where some cute sqrls were playing volleyball. Life is good.

forever alone.

rode past a train and there was a girl that i thought i took a class with last year sitting with her boyfriend on it, but it wasn't her. she just looked hyper similar. anyway, she was looking back at me too, and then she waved like she knew me, right as i was deciding it wasn't that girl. so i dunno.

Today I got home with a flat tire at 6am. Slept till 1, decided not to do a group ride this afternoon and save myself for the big party rider today.
Deciding that sobriety makes being around drunk people not as fun.

Today I put my Pista back together that I pulled apart in November. Installed the new Cane Creek S2 headset, new shorter/level stem, rb-021's are new, new H+ and thickslick in the back, new chain (pc-1 all they had at the lbs) and new chainring bolts because mine were all corroded, and new clips, double straps, and sylvans. Lots of new bits and pieces nicely greased the bike feels great. All sorts of creaks and wobbles from the fall are gone. In love with the bullhorns, I think the stock saddle is next to go its pretty bad.

Today I cleaned my bike (soapy water to get all the grime off and then Pedro's Bike Lust), adjusted my saddle, and oiled my chain. Prolink Progold is smelly.

Today I got up and cooked breakfast for the family... smoky back bacon and free range eggs.

Installed a new center stand on my P20 tourer and tidied up my shop...

Played with my daughters and helped them work on mother's day projects...

BBQ'd steaks...

Caught the last period of the Canucks / Preds game...

Flirted with a pretty lady...
