Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

today I came up on a large sum of cash (at least to me it is) and am having a hard time stopping myself from goin out and buying a fuji roubaix or fuji track pro on impulse. I really wanna do the track racing thing but I also kinda wanna have gears again. AAHHHH WHAT TO DO!!! >.<

Today I moved to Madison, WI. It was a long, 12 hour move, but I think it'll work out just fine.

Today I woke up to the sound of a woodpecker hammering away on a car hood, the honking of geese, the chirping of frogs, and a cacophony of other bird sounds just as the sun came up.

After making coffee spent some time cleaning up the shop then finished up a dropout replacement before I got a lift home... had 10 sets of vintage rims and 2 bike frames that would not have fit on my bike.

Will ride back out tomorrow morning at the butt crack of dawn.

Figure that I earned myself a cold beer or three.

My special somebody has decided to stay the week with me; I haven't eaten this well or had such a clean and organized living space in a long time.

Lol I know how this one goes... I'm terrible at cooking and too lazy to put effort into food, and the lady is neither of those. I'll help her out all the time when we're together, but if I'm alone I'll just eat pizza rolls and hot dogs.
