Today was a good road ride, followed by a good urban session on the mtb.

I built the best wheels I have made so far for my class and it took all day. Now I have to take them apart I have to redo all my wheels now that I have more knowledge. Maybe just my touring wheels

Today I sucked at wrapping my bars. Lulz. Oh well, I'll just rewrap with the same tape after it stretches a bit.

Today I worked 10 hours, rode 12 miles, some paper and dice tabletop gaming, and now I'm gonna go sleep for about four hours so I can meet with a potential investor and then work 14 hours. Is it bad that I feel guilty trying to open my own restaurant while being Sous Chef opening someone else's?

Today, I realized that, as much as I like the hand position options on bullhorns, risers are infinitely more comfortable, especially on rollers while watching TV. I'm such a baby.

(Yesterday) I was riding home from work. I was approaching an intersection, red light, and there were maybe 3-4 cars stopped at the light. There is a bike lane on this road, which merges with a right turn lane at the intersection. A woman gets out of the passenger side of one of the stopped cars. No big deal, I was still far enough away that I had plenty of room to slow my speed and give her time to cross the bike lane and get to the sidewalk.

Except instead of crossing the bike lane, she starts walking in it, with her back to me. By this time the light has turned green. I slow down further and as I approach her, I politely say "Ma'am, you're in a bike lane." My typical approach is to yell "HEADS UP!" so I feel like this was a rather good effort on my part to not be an *******.

She responds with a pause and a snotty, "Well so are you!"

...

"Because I'm on a bike?" o.O

By then I had passed her and she yelled something about "Ride safely, [mumble mumble]" and I went on my way, laughing hysterically.

That's actually mildly witty response from someone who appeared to be an idiot.

I'm not sure it was witty so much as her brain reverted to 3rd grade and it was the equivalent of "I know you are but what am I"

Yes, it is bad that you feel guilty. In da streets we call this hustlin.

If you live in Narnia, then maybe no, it's not bad.

One time I tried to give the cashier my ID and he wouldn't even take it.

When I went to the liquor store on my bday I got a free Burnett's Vodka hat.
