Cool. I have been wondering about them. It's seldom anyone says anything about them around here.

I just bought one for $32 bucks w/shipping. Worth a try, I thought.

It was a sweet purple with chrome rear triangle Bertoni. No wheels or RD, maybe missing a couple of other parts. $100

Tonight i rode my MTB (96 Schwinn s9.3 with Noleen linkage fork... yeah. old) to the minimart for smokes because it's raining and i had just fettled my Kilo.

Initial thoughts:
-why is my ass getting SO WET (answer:Onza "Rip" mud type knobbies circa 96... i literally bought 4 pair when they were available new, though, and haven't ridden it since easily 2007)
-why am i SO SLOW (bike weighs easily 30+ lbs)
-why are the bars SO WIDE
-PACE PEDALING DOES NOTHING ZOMG
-i have a huge dead spot in my pedal stroke at bottom dead center after riding fixed.

I bought it expecting to do some climbing around here last summer but this is the first time I've even used the 20t. I also picked up a 44t chainring om ebay today since I run road doubles, which should be the right size so I can have 51x17 and 44x20, which will make a much better combo. Thinking about grabbing a new dingle too, 17x21. I'm sure I can find use for two. It's basically my favorite bike part at this point.

Have you done the math yet?? Do you have enough slot for the adjustment? All I know is some say it allows the same difference in chainring teeth as in cog teeth without messing with chain length...................17X21 would go with 51X47. I have never thought about going with a greater difference. I don't even have the thing yet so I really don't know a lot. But, it's on the way!!!

spent the majority of my afternoon editing a little video for a friend of mine, and I think it came out quite well.

Also saw Place Beyond The Pines, which was pretty sweet. plan on a ride tomorrow after schooling meets its end

Today I finished a long weekend of partying at the Renaissance Faire. Missed the jousting, but I did get to hear plenty of ye olde dick jokes.
