ANDEL or RD2
Okay, if I get the RD2 I won't have to buy a new chain, and my cog is 3/32 as well. If I get the ANDEL I'd have to buy a new chain and my cog wouldn't be the same as chainring. I just feel like the ANDEL would be more sturdy.

I currently have a FSA giomondi crankset and I'm not really feeling it.

I was leaning towards that too. I'd assume the bb for the andel would be cheaper than the rd2 anyway. If anyone has a 1/8 cog and chain they wana trade for my 3/32 cog and chain let me know! haha. I read that the andels are just rebranded all city cranks?

if tejanotrackie says something's ugly, it means 99.99999% of the population thinks it's nice-looking. +3 sram s300.

for cheap bbs i still prefer a cheap square taper over a those $25 gxp joints.
s300s are ugly
i went with the eai cobra economy cranks. basically andels with a matte surface and aren't finished smooth. they're only like $60 retail

use a 110 jis bb

Ugh forget both of those. Either sugino 75's or omniums, or you're better off walking.
But because walking sucks compared to having a bike between your legs; I'll have to +1 for the s300's

Can someone explain to me what a "zen like" chainring is?

Looks like this:
BUT only costs a fraction and therefore only a fraction of the quality of the real deal.
Pictures don't say much but I own a couple and sugino really puts love in when making these, especially when you pull it out of the vinyl sheath they come in.

I just swapped a square taper bb for a GXP, and I have to say, the GXP is soo much easier to work with, easier to get in and out, and on the plus, if something gets stripped, you can still get a GXP style BB out a lot easier than a square taper

Cool, so now its between the s300 and andels. I'm most likely going to get the andels! I will keep you posted. I wonder if the current bb I have will work with them. hmm.

Depends on your build with that frame. More of a classic build, boxier rims, more chrome, brooks... Get the IRD Defiant https://store.somafab.com/irdde144trcr.html
If you are going the deep-v route get the Andels. S300's are ugly.

Good decision. If your current BB is 110mm JIS square taper it will work. You are probably aware that unlike the SRAM cranks, the Andels are available in a multitude of colors. IMO a silver crank would look great with your frame and fork.
