Dude, stop it. They don't come as complete bikes.

lcg526, Scrod's right, they don't come complete, but what you'll learn from building ity up will serve you well later, in maintaining it. That's half the fun of Fixed and SS, anyway, is building the bike.

    This!
It's a great experience, and will open your horizons for maintaining your bikes for years to come!
It sometimes does end up a little pricey though, compared to getting some bike complete.

The other aspect is that it's YOUR bike, and not a clone of every other person that bought a "Fixie" because they thought it was cool and hip. I ride a conversion to fixed, myself, built on a 1971 Nishiki frame. The bike's 40 years old, and is mine, period. This is my beauty, right here....

It's built how I want it, and it isn't just like every other Fixed Gear on the planet. It's just simple, classic understatement rather than a "Tarck" bike, or a track bike. I use it far more than my road bike.
