Cost of painting a frame?
I'm interested in converting my SR400 into a singlespeed ala bluechip: https://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s...o/IMG_0907.jpg
And am wondering what I should expect to pay for the paint job and the rest of the conversion. I've never built a bike up (have a mercier kilo tt though) before (or stripped one down). So I'm a bit clueless and don't just want to walk into our fixedgearshop and have them bend me over

The SR400 is aluminum, right? A cheap powdercoat should cost anywhere between $70-$125 depending where you go. The rest of the cost really depends on what parts you're going to recycle.
