Different colored wheels for 2011 SE Lager?

Hey guys, I live in Chicago and am looking to upgrade to a single speed road bike over my coaster that I'm riding now. I'm also pretty new to bike culture so please forgive the ignorance.

I've been eyeing the SE Lager, and of the three 2011 color options I'm leaning towards the purple/black model. Picture here:

https://www.sebikes.com/lager.php

However, I'm thinking that might be a bit much purple for my taste. My question is, is it easy to find quality different colored wheel frames for the Lager? How expensive would that typically be?

Specifically I'm thinking some neon green rims would look pretty cool with the remaining purple. Are there certain sites I should be looking at for those?

Thanks guys, any and all input is appreciated!

If by wheel frames you mean rims then yes. https://www.velomine.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1344 there are some but honestly I would say don't worry bout it and ride it first. Theres this cool idea that when riding a bike your not usually starting at it.

Yep, definitely meant rims. And while I realize the color has nothing to do with how it rides, it's something I know would grate on my nerves. Thanks for the link, are those rims the correct size for a Lager?

Purple looks like the worst colorscheme.. get the white and leave it, or blue and swap out some blue
I wouldn't buy just for color though, swapping out a whole wheelset because you don't like how it looks isn't worth the money. Get a different bike (most bikes at this price point are pretty similar), or contact SE and try to swap out the wheel colors
