Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Weinman Deep V Alternatives

Are there any other wheels out there that are offered in a nice polished silver such as the Weinmann Dee V's? I had seen the Sun CR18's I believe in a nice polished silver but I think they were 27". Does Sun or anyone else make a polished wheel in either 700c or 27" that will freely accept a cog and freewheel or that already had a flip/flop hub installed?

Both CR18s and M13s are available in 700c.

Probably cant find a set prebuilt to a track hub, but the Mavic Cpx 33 is another option of deeper section silver rim.

Those Mavic's look good. I would like to do something other than Weinmanns or Deep Vs. Although, I will say Deep Vs look amazing, especially in polished. If anyone has some pictures of there single speeds or fixed with polished Mavics or Deep Vs, please post them!
