Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Try this:

BTW - you'll most likely pay much less buying a wheelset online than you will from any shop in SF.

If you need them asap then you will have to pay the premium for one of the random shops around your area (and sorry I cannot give you an answer to what shops are around but I gave you more than seems to be put out so far). You also may note that finding dp18s will most likely be harder than finding a set of deep v's or another more expensive wheelset because often times the cheaper sets just aren't stocked other than in large online sites. If you cant deal with the fact that most people on here remember that we are all on the internet forum and don't care much for being serious than you came to the wrong place. Yes we are all snarky and whatnot but its what we find funny.
Im not serious. I just dont understand the point in you guys trying to pick at people who are just trying to get some help. I really doubt you guys act like this in real life so why on here?

and scrod, i tried that. i was just hoping somebody knew. Theres a HELL of a lot of bike shops in sf and bay area.

but thank you guys for the lack of help.
