Nah bro, askjeeves is where it's at.

echotraveler 06-06-11 05:45 AM

sorry fellas, the pics!!

The drops that came with the bike are beAutifull! but not very practical so i got a mtb handlebar and cut it down to my road bike handlebar width. bought a cheap bmx lever, and now im on the quest to buy a front caliper. This bike is so NICE and CLEAN!!! Funny thing, the saddle and post stayed in NYC!! right now im using my road bikes post and saddle.

another thing is im planning on using mtb clipless pedals to deal with the HUGE toe overlap, since im used to being clipped there should be no problem

What's practical about taking a bike made for the track and using?:
- MTB bars
- BMX brake lever
- Brakes
- MTB clipless pedals

The "HUGE toe overlap" is due to the 74 degree head tube angle and the 30mm raked fork...which are track racing specific.

So, basically, you are taking a race bike and making it a grocery-getter.
