Need some advice on finding a matching front wheel

I bought a DP18 from my LBS they are installing it..etc. I wanted to conserve cash so I waited on the wheel set. Anyway, they are quoting me over $100 for a front wheel. I will have purchased tires already and could just bring in my old front wheel and have them swap on the new tube and tires and true it..correct?

If so, can I just buy a front wheel online somewhere? I thought it would be around $50..seems like I may be getting a high quote or am I wrong here?

There is a single silver DP18 on Velomine right now for $80 + shipping.

For over $100, you might as well just buy a set from Velomine for $130 shipped and sell the spare.

Seriously, though...yummy is right. Buy a wheelset and sell off the wheel you've got now. Assuming it's in good shape, you should be able to get around 50 bucks for it.

Thanks..and yeah I may do that.

The store price doesn't seem too bad after looking at the site either. Just wanted to make sure that the price was accurate. Considering he will true the wheel for me as well and I'd be supporting a small biz that is ok.
