ITTDQ: Omnium Chainring on 75's?
Will an Omnium chainring work with standard chainring bolts on a set of Sugino 75's?
I know that you typically need new to mix/match chainring bolts if you use non-Omnium chainrings on an Omnium crankset because of the combo of a thick chainring and thick spider, but how about an Omnium chainring on non-Omnium cranks?

Your cog is slipping.
I didn't need to do anything to the stock Omnium chainring bolts when I installed my FSA ring. I would think standard chainring bolts would work just fine.

I've never had to change the stock chainring, so I wouldn't know. I've just read:

Yeah, I remember that thread too and had extra chainring bolts on hand but didn't end up needing them. Still not sure about the other way around though.

I had a sugino 75 chainring and the bolts from the omniums were too long for it, i realize that's the opposite of what you're working and possibly a waste of a post, but it's something to consider/make things possibly more confusing!

Yep, that's a known issue with the Omnium chainring bolts.
I got a couple responses on another forum that say it'll work. Yay! It's not the best looking chainring, but I can dig the quality. I would go for the FSA chainring, but I'm not paying $25 more than what I'm going to pay for the Omnium chainring for looks when the Omnium chainring looks fine.

Your cog is slipping.
I sold my stock Omnium chainring on eBay for what a new FSA ring retails for.

I know. Just saying you could most likely turn around and sell it for much more than that and buy the chainring you really want.
