Schwalbe Durano-Skid. Any experiences?

Has anyone tried the Schwalbe Durano-Skid tire? Seems like a relatively new entry to the "fixie-urban-skidz" tire category.

It's lighter than a rando, but about $15 more.

Nope but it sure looks tempting.

Bicycles without brakes are illegal in certain countries.

I remember Scrod having these tires for a while on his 725, although I'm not sure he has the "Skid" models.

A friend of mine bought one. After three polo sessions and 100 km's it looks like this:

Quality problems again, or just failed design?

Failed design. They're basically the same tire as the Durano Plus (which are back on my 725) with a slightly different tread pattern and a little more meat on them. The fact that they don't come bigger than 25c is another fail in itself.

It may be lighter than a Rando but it's nowhere near as durable.
