Security nuts for your wheels - PLEASE HELP!
I know what they are...how useful they can be...and that I've seen riders around downtown San Francisco use them for their wheels instead of the standard nuts for their bolt on axles.
Anyone know where the heck I can get them as a consumer?

They only sell to city maintenance organizations and such - but I KNOW that some shop/shops SOMEWHERE will have some of these.
I'll post pic of them on an actual bike soon.
Any help would be appreciated =)
If anyone was wondering what I'm using now - carrying 2 locks (frame and rear to frame - the front is "pinheaded")

To be honest, they arent that useful. Thats not going to keep someone from stealing what they want. Just put your money in a good lock and just leave the rest of it up to your karma. But really, when you get a flat, have fun making sure you have the right tools to take that wheel off.

I'm pretty sure a pair of these and a firm grip would pretty much foil that security. If not, a hammer and a punch.

Anyone ever find a source for these in small quantities? I'd really like to replace the track nuts on my bike with penta nuts.

Why not lock your wheels, these only add a couple seconds to a determined thief's mission to get your wheels.
