Would you pay 300$ for Open Pros laced to Phil Woods?

https://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218...h=mavic%20phil

This has me slightly intrigued, could possibly haggle down to 250. Worth it?

If you could get it down to $250 and everything checks out; I'll do it.

even at 300USD its a bloody good deal. I have had a phil wood 36H to mavic open pro for four years - its gone through three bicycle frames - and is the most durable wheel I have ever owned.

I'd buy them if I was in the market for them. Especially if you could get it down to $250.

You want it, go get it. For motivation, it's like buying a set of Phil hubs, and then getting free lips, spokes, nipples and rim tape/labor.

hahaha, those are my (ex) wheels
sold them on ebay for 325
i thought i took that ad down, sorry
but yeah, i thought it was a pretty good deal
i'll be posting a pic of my bike with its new wheels soon

oh and post script;
what's with all the negotiating? i sell a ton of **** locally and people think just cuz they're dealing face to face they gotta talk the other person down in price. that's not cool. just pay what they're asking or don't buy it.

It's KSL, its not a business so why not haggle if you can. No shame in trying to shave off a few $$, and not like you can't say no. Funny that that's your add though, small world

I sell a lot locally as well and people always try to haggle, and I do it as well.

Offtopic, but what lake is that in your pedal room?
Also, why did you sell em?

would have prefered to sell them locally to you, though i probably wouldn't have gone less than 300 haha

that is top of little mountain so that lake is east canyon reservoir
most of the other pictures are on big mountain

Some dude on the Buffalo craigslist is trying to sell an open pro/phil wheelset for $520. Guess I'd get 'em for 3 if I really had the scratch and wanted phil's.
