As long as you have a brake and aren't planning to skid or use back pressure to slow down then you should be fine or else it's time for another hub/wheel which I recommend and this time make sure that the lockring and cog are tightened down correctly, like take it to a bike shop.

you can use the freewheel side and use a bottom bracket lock ring, Or you can just get new wheel.

Rotafix that bad boy and dont use ANY sort of backward pressure. Lockring is reverse threaded so it wont fit on the freewheel side.

Same thing happened to me recently. I had to get a new hub (+ wheel, cog and good lockring -- upgrade excuse). Stripping almost always happens on crappy components, like my former wheel + hub.

Just did this to my buddies rear wheel last night. He was having issues with his lockring/cog loosening even after they were fully tightened down, so we just used rotafix and red locktight on his freewheel side, locktight'ing a bb lockright up against it too.
Hopefully with a better quality cock and lockring and an actual spanner the fixed side will still be useable for changing out various cogs without anymore slippage.

I have not used a co.. I mean... lock ring in years just rotafix. And I still stop by back pressure. I wouldn't ever do it without a brake though. But you'd be surprised how tight a rotafix cog really is.

A tight cog is everything. The lockring doesn't do anything for you except catch the cog if it slips, and hopefully you pedal forward to thread it back on or else you will just force the lockring off the hub.
I guess it is a different story if you use something like the Miche cog carrier system

You can JB weld the cog to the freewheel side (make sure the threads are thoroughly cleaned on the cog and the hub).
